NaturalWorld by ChaxxInClockwork NaturalWorld by ChaxxInClockwork
Alright, last picture for today. This one has to do with the natural world. Inspired by the Romantic Movement in the 19th and 20th century, particularly sublime paintings. There is a lot of meaning behind everything, like most of my paintings, but I don't feel like explaining it. There is a reason why the abandoned train tracks are so ugly and its so dark around them though.
I was focused on composition for this one. I do a lot of character designs, which are usually pretty static. I struggle with dynamics so its been something I've been working on lately.
The painting it pretty big for a watercolor; 24" by 16" if I remember correctly. There's also a good amount of pen and pastels mixed in there

Gosh, I love the colours in this. It seems so cool and serene and I love how everything fades from vivid and dark on the edges to soft pastels in the middle.

The composition is great and you really hit the dynamic nail on the head ahahah! I always love how deep and thoughtful your artwork is, because I can tell that every stroke is very symbolic. Like you, my artwork is also very meaningful to me, but I don't like explaining the meaning. It's fun to leave things open to interpretation and I like how you let people find their own meaning in your work.

This is beautiful my dear, as always!
